Important changes coming to SchoolsHUB sign in

From 28 November 2024, you will need to sign into SchoolsHUB with multi-factor authentication (MFA) – you cannot opt out of MFA after this date.

MFA is the most secure way you can sign into your SchoolsHUB account because it adds an extra layer of protection. You may already be using MFA for other online accounts when you receive an authentication code by text message or email after entering your password to sign in. SchoolsHUB MFA is similar.

All Australian Government agencies are moving towards using MFA to protect web portals that store sensitive data (e.g. personal, health or identity-related data). This means it will be mandatory to use MFA when signing into Australian Government web portals like SchoolsHUB.

If you’re not signing into SchoolsHUB with MFA, we strongly encourage you to set it up now. This will immediately make your account more secure and ensure you’re prepared when MFA becomes mandatory.

We’re here to help

For help with setting up MFA:

  • visit the SchoolsHUB user management page
  • submit an enquiry on SchoolsHUB
  • call 1800 677 027 (select option 1).

Online Estimator now available with updated funding estimate years

The Online Estimator has been updated to rollover projected funding to the period 2025 to 2028.

The determined 2025 Capacity to Contribute (CTC) scores for CTC-eligible non-government schools are not yet available on the Online Estimator. The populated scores for 2025 used by the Online Estimator are based on schools’ determined 2024 CTC scores.

To make an estimate using an updated CTC score, you can manually enter your school’s 2025 CTC score into the Online Estimator’s CTC field.

Find your school’s 2025 CTC score on the Department of Education website.
