Implementation of multi-factor authentication (MFA) on SchoolsHUB 28 April 2023

The Department is implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA) on SchoolsHUB. From Thursday 1 June 2023, you will need to be registered for MFA to continue using SchoolsHUB.

MFA means you will need to use your password and a one-time code generated by a compatible authentication app or sent to your email address to access SchoolsHUB.

MFA is a cyber security measure to help ensure your school and user data remain secure. Taking the extra step beyond a password improves protection of your entities’ information from potential hackers.

To prepare for this change, we ask that you:

• Read the MFA fact sheet containing general information about the change.
• Check the email address on your SchoolsHUB account is not a shared address (for example admin@school.edu).
• Stay up-to-date with this change by monitoring the SchoolsHUB homepage News section for updates over the coming weeks.
