• Before you apply for funding you must register on School Entry Point.
  • Registration is the process whereby you:
    • identify yourself;
    • create your own User Id and password which will allow you to access School Entry Point once your account has been activated; and
    • agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  • You must enter your own details as the user account will be for you – do not Register for another person. Note: more than one person can be registered for a school/school funding authority and one account can have access to more than one school/school funding authority.
  • When you have submitted your registration you will be sent an email with instructions on how to activate your account.
  • Do not Register if you are already a registered user. If you have forgotten your User Id or Password, use the links provided on the School Entry Point Login page. If you require access to a different school, use the My Account function once you have logged on.
  • You can Register at any time.

Personal Information

  • On this screen you will need to provide the following:
    • Title – your title
    • First Name – your first name
    • Last Name – your last name
    • Date of Birth – your date of birth. This is used to prevent multiple registrations and will be protected as per the the Department of Education’s Privacy Policy.
    • Telephone Number – your telephone number which will be used if we need to contact you directly
    • Fax Number – your fax number
    • Mobile Number – your mobile number
    • Email Address – your email address. The account activation email and other important correspondence will be sent to this address. We would prefer to send emails to you directly, not to a shared email address. If you do not have your own email address then use the school email.
    • Confirm Email Address – you are required to confirm your email address by re-entering it.
    • Verification Code – the Verification code at the bottom of this screen is a security feature designed to prevent automated access. Enter the 5 Character code as shown with no spaces. The Verification code will time out after 4 minutes. If you cannot read the code, click the green refresh image beside the code.
  • Once you have entered the details click on the Go to Step 2 button. The next screen will be the Login Details screen.
  • You can cancel at anytime by clicking the Cancel button.
  • Personal information is collected under the Department of Education’s Privacy Policy. Links to the department’s Privacy Policy Summary can be found at the bottom of each page.
  • If the message is displayed: The first name, last name and DOB are already listed. Please contact the Department., this may mean you are already a registered user. If this is this case you should not be registering again. If you have forgotten your User Id or Password, use the links provided on the School Entry Point Login page. If you require access to a different school, use the My Account function once you have logged on. If you require access to apply for other programs, this is available via the Applications function once you have logged on.

Login Details

  • After you have provided your Personal Information you will need to create your new account by providing the following:
    • User Id – this is a unique identifier and must be between 8 and 20 characters and may not include spaces or any of the following characters: \"*+,/:;<=>?[\\]|@;
    • Password – must be between 10 and 14 characters and contain at least one of each of the following: lower case letter, upper case letter, digit;
    • Security Question – selected from a drop down list; and
    • Your Answer – which you may be asked at some stage to verify your identity (e.g. if you have forgotten your User Id and/or Password).
  • The information entered will be unique to you. Accounts are for individuals not for a school/school funding authority. If you move to another school you will be able to update your access and the school/s you are responsible for.
  • NOTE: you will need to provide the Password entered each time you log in to School Entry Point so it is important that you remember it.
  • Once you have entered the details click on the Go to Step 3 button. The next screen will be the Confirmation screen.
  • You can go back to the Personal Information screen by clicking the Back button.

Register a New Account – Confirmation

  • On this screen a summary of the information you have provided is displayed. If you wish to change any of this information you can click the Go Back button.
  • To submit your registration details you must accept the Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept the Terms and Conditions you will not be able to proceed to apply for funding.
  • To accept the Terms and Conditions, click the checkbox declaring that the information you have provided is correct.
  • To submit your registration details click the Submit button.
  • Once you have submitted your registration you will be sent a confirmation email containing instructions on how to activate your account. Until you have activated your account you will not be able to use your User Id and Password.
